So I got my LaCie drive this afternoon, it's 2:07 PM EDT on Friday the 18th of April 2025 - and it's USB C and all my stuff is old, the old USB! 

So many details! I just also realized I could have simply formatted my drive and started over but nope, time and money have been spent so more time and money will have to be spent to make this work.

I got the title track up by 3:28 PM but I am gonna take a break on all this now.

... and just like that a USB C to A adapter is on my doorstep; well before current time 8:01 PM! I am now copying choice directories to the new drive and will retire the yo! 500gb drive that served me since 2021.

I can also format that drive if needed.

Tech detail: I cannot hae  multiple external drives on a single usb hub; so right now I am disconnected from the Zed 10 Allen & Heath mixer. 

It's now 9:18 PM; I'll see you on Sunday, Lord willing.
