Clean slate

Clean slate was truly the last piece from 2011, first in 2012.

It was all  written, recorded and produced completely at 322 in Edgewood, from 12/17 till 1/5/12 and incorporates various styles of music, Byzantine, Latin, Moorish and Mongol.

Jerusalem is a first, a full length electronic voyage into the desert nights, the dust and moonlight, the clarity and richness of the night.

Tracks 4 - 6 feature accompaniment, with track 4 being of particular note as its players are core to the follow up piece, MAKE MORE MISTAKES.

Enjoy in fullness.

new clearer skin

... SO ♥ this new Trace/House thing I'm on. Sleep well, under God's big sky.

Folks is digging (old DN stuff too! - loving it, enjoy!

This is how we do it (part four)

Wanna stay fresh?
Wanna break the mold?

Do the unexpected.

Last night that was an impromptu session with Mr.P. ... and finally got Dan Moorad on vocals.
Dan brought Esar Tehrani, who did drums on this stem (Mike Did guitar).

Don't tell anyone but this may be bonus material on clean slate.

The how-to is the comes in when you find yourself transitioning from headphone space to live space.
Everyone wants to be heard, and you just want the recording to be balanced and on.

Crazy kids and their rock music.
... Being irresponsible.
Enjoy.

golden apple medicine

... I broke the norm tonight and reached out and found new friends.
All glory to God.

Drums - Michael Person
Guitar - Esar Tehrani
Vocals - Dan Moorad
Synth/Production - Edward Lund

From 322 on 1/4/12
... A most enchanting session.

New Balance

Produced at 322 from 12/17 - 12/23; the title came after trying to get Creed over after his move and realizing he was trying to achieve, new balance. The lyrics are pure King David:
In you, LORD my God, I put my trust. I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame,
Psalm 25: 1 & 2 This was the template builder for clean slate,  a collection of primary live minor bass, light surf guitar-work and MPC/SP404 beats.

All hooks.

Welcome to the year 2012.
