Locals only!

What a great day, total great yield!

Psalm 4

For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm of David.

   [a]1 Answer me when I call to you,
   my righteous God.
Give me relief from my distress;
   have mercy on me and hear my prayer.
 2 How long will you men turn my glory into shame?
   How long will you love delusions and seek false gods[b]?[c]
3 Know that the LORD has set apart his faithful servant for himself;
   the LORD hears when I call to him.
 4 Tremble and[d] do not sin;
   when you are on your beds,
   search your hearts and be silent.
5 Offer the sacrifices of the righteous
   and trust in the LORD.
 6 Many, LORD, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?”
   Let the light of your face shine on us.
7 Fill my heart with joy
   when their grain and new wine abound.
 8 In peace I will lie down and sleep,
   for you alone, LORD,
   make me dwell in safety.

Psalms 4 set to a radical music score (after all it was written "For the director of music. With stringed instruments").
I like using scripture for lyrics, since I believe these are eternal words, perhaps setting them to my music will make my music out live me.
From 322 on 2/4/12
Produced as: 2412 - Locals only (FIN!)
CTK-611 on drums
71' Twin on guitar

Halfpipe (demo)

Hola

Creed came to 322 and played drums on the third session of 2/15/12, my birthday.

He brought over a deep golden snare, it sounded great with my blissed out sequencing.

All glory to God for the cruise ship Electronics/D&B.

Mastered as "Creed 21512 half pipe 2"

- total feather in the cap.

Los Chicos

Los Chicos
Hey how's it going?
Props to the bot or person with all the lovely comments
sitting in the Awaiting moderation box.
May the love of Christ fill your day.

I could say this is a song about Tony, called Tony's theme
but that would be far to cheeky.
This is about vatos rolling on the Eastside,
 knowing there's trouble in the streets,
 and sometimes it's all you can do to
make it to ir a la tienda de la de la leche y la cerveza.

blue meets blue

 In gathering raw materials for Hola, I  came across the 1/21/12 Edgewood Music Club
recordings.

That's the same session that bore, First offering.

Originally, there was a bellowing synth that all but drowned the drums.
Creed's guitar floated around it the synth line and Alan, still new to electronics, followed the guitar.

This was during mid session and they were starting to get a bit tired, so I kicked the over energetic
synth line out and listened to just the guitar and drums.
They were melodic and light.

I went with that, and added a shiny bass and some set synth to phaser, I then did my best James Dean on the vocal harmonies, the only frailty on the track and compressed it for you.
