Flat 9's

Still so much content to share with you. And now that my yelp and IM's are all promoting this blog so I have to get the conventional stuff up.
For that we turn to The Black Reds.

TBR was a sweet punk band from Flowery Branch, raised on X, The Desendents, Pennywise and all that Southern California punk goodness.
Here's some of the jams; I'll edit this with more content soon, I'm just pressed for time to get to the office.

Pray that someday this is all I have to do, make music and art for you.

- the above blog ramblings are from July 10th, 2008; at 6:56am.

It's now 12:15 in the afternoon of April 20th, 2017 - I know have tons of time to make music and art for you - just little to no money to get more gear and press vinyl - but hey God is faithful.
No bloodclot cryin' here mon.

The above tracks mentioned made it onto

friends you bring

... released back on May of 2011; a sort of sampler combo set - one of the last things I did before the word.

Track 5? the Orleans-blueish inspired, That gal'll make ya howl (tattoos & a beehive on)

Track 4 was one of Ralph's (from Barney's) favorites; a sentimental song about trying to keep a wife who just doesn't want to you anymore; written for Cindy.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Enjoy responsibly.

We miss you bro.

Desperation is a river

This was written, recorded and produced just before I learned that my old friend Travis Rivers died. Love and prayers to the family.

Jericho & Krazy World

Good stuff from the past.... Travis, enjoy this.

Jericho

Jericho is obviously Pennywise/HB inspired.. Strong and upfront. Download; crap am I giving everything away? Yeah, actually.

Krazy World

Krazy World is more Devo than anything, maybe not as nerdy... Travis is not really mister internet so I don't know if he'll ever get to enjoy this but I will promptly text him. Laters!

Hungry Heart

We all have special people and special experiences in our lives here on Earth. For those of us who's path leads us to make art and music, those relationships and memories can be illustrated and captured for others to see and hear, perhaps well into the future.

2007 was a particularly interesting (to be a be upbeat) year. Facing a separation from his wife, leading to an inevitable divorce, Edward Lund had some hard choices to make.

In typical fashion he considered his options in layers of rhythm and and tone, inflecting the pain he was going thru all the while trying to give his friends and family a different way to see and here the world.

Hungry Heart was recorded during the early winter of 2007, Feburarish, with the aide of Travis Rivers; a trusty friend from a few years before. Travis recorded this jam in his basement, he also played drums on it.

Edward sang and did the guitar thing.

Here's the downloader.
