And.... we're back!
My immediate family and I were on the Emerald Coast for most of this week; we left for Navarre, Fl on the 2nd day of the week and it's not the 6th, just returned last night before sunset; it's currently 9:09 AM EDT on the 31st of July 2026.
I must say, July was a full month!
I ran from the room, across the Navarre Beach Causeway (the bridge), put my hand in the Gulf of America and ran back with her watch on to get the above stat. I think I did it in 33 minutes?
God knoweth.
We had a shrimp basket, gator bites, a lobster quesadilla, mahi mahi and collard greens at TC's front porch, buckee's brisket in Auburn, Al both directions; buckee's chips on the way back, Slippery Mermaid sushi on our last night, she got the TRITON'S TUNA,Spicy tuna, cucumber, seared yellowfin tuna, tuna tartare, crunchies, wasabi mayo, lemon slices.
Noah got the POSEIDON Shrimp tempura, cream cheese, cucumber, bacon, yellowfin tuna, salmon, fish roe, eel sauce.
I got the SUMMERTIME: Salmon, cucumber, roasted garlic, cucumber, yellowfin tuna, sesame oil drizzle, wasabi mayo, sesame seeds
By far the best meal we had there. But waitress from Lousianna we had at TC's was really special.
Andre and Tommy from Jamaica went above their duties in tending our room, God bless them.
We haven't been on a Vacation since 2023 so every detail was something of a big deal to me at least.
