It was sometime into the future and all civilization was gone, all cultural references gone, all the music of recorded history; gone. Except a hard drive filled with 85Lives music. One man was able to retract it and going forward, this music from this hear blog would be the foundation of music for the next world.Very humbling to say the least. Here's a track from last night; for some reason I still think it's July (7); maybe because I didn't see the ocean this summer (:/).

we have seen
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We write this to make our[a] joy complete.1 John 1 Drums by Alan during the 7/23/11 session at 322, Edward did the first synth layer along with bass during that session. It's known as "72311 - beta fishes" Additional synth, guitars and vocals were produced at 322 on 7/26/11

Philippians 3
Today's New International Version (TNIV) Philippians 3
No Confidence in the Flesh
1 Further, my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord! It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you. 2 Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh. 3 For it is we who are the circumcision, we who serve God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh— 4 though I myself have reasons for such confidence. If others think they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: 5 circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee; 6 as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for righteousness based on the law, faultless. 7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.

first you
The bandcamp for this track states:
Tons of hacking and gunny-saking Then "First You" was born Written, recorded and produced at 322 on 9/17/11 - That's Creed on several layers of conical and stratospheric bass-ness.Lyrics:
1 Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; 2 for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. 3 Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. 4 Take delight in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: 6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sunPsalm 35: 1 -6

Savage Burn Across Town ( role Kernel Panic remix)
Dan Moorad passed me this CD that him and Mr. P made.
Mr. P aka Michael Person aka Chip Person was in Double Nickels and Jaguar Mountain.
So Dan was all feverish sipping Coca Cola at the Righteous Room on 9/9/11.
He said "Listen to track 5" so I did.
I immediately got some ideas.
First take was on 7/11 but I wasn't crazy about it and wanted to redo but it was study week (so weak, sigh) so I had to wait till 9/15 to do it proper.
Mike's guitar is all in B and Dan sings like David Yow.
I could have easily made it all Texas Toast sounding but decided to take it Berlin ala Barcelona.
Lyrics? God only knows. Dan swears he's got them written down.

Beach boys don't cry
Written, recorded and produced during the Fall of 2011
This album began on 9/15/11 after failing my first Apple cert exam. Reason = I'd much rather be making tracks. I don't think I'll ever find fulfillment in IT or any other industry quite like I do making and performing music - especially music I believe is vibrant and relevant to the times.
G/F/F means:
God gets all the credit. May He shine on these anthems, may He honored and forgive us (me) for our foolish ways.
Family for their love and support.
Friends for their help and encouragement.
A breakdown of who did what, when and where listed per track.
Yes, there already is hidden bonus material.

It'll be ok Daddy
Hey if you're just joining us, start with Rockaway Taco.
This is a currently somewhat painful to listen, what with all it's multi-layered hooks.
- This is the closer to black beach. There are several alternate versions available when you buy the album from the bandcamp.
Here's the text:
Creed came by 322 on 9/10/11 and played his brand of Americana shoegazer bass lines that he is now getting famous for. Edward triggered drums, played synth, guitar and sang. God smiled over the whole thing, knowing He would be glorified by all the music his servant produces for Him. This is version three, named by Noah.
Energy in the city tonight is amazing.
Some where there's a whole some where there's a hole where do you find yourself to night my friends Say it like you mean it, say it with all you got. Say it like you mean it, you know it means a lot. Say it like you mean it, it's time to give it all you got Say it like you mean it, It's all you got.Alan on drums Creed on bass Edward by God doing the rest. give it all (322 edit)
black beach
A decisive upturn.
Begun after labor day, 2011.
Player credits per track.
The first one, give it all is very open and upfront, very much honest and with a spirit of victory and humility.
grass that is blue
take that chomp and stompers.
Just kidding.
But I really don't like blue grass.
I went to the Festival with Creed and Scarlett, we didn't stay long. I wanted to puke.
He was too tore up to make it to 322.
I did the drums, bass, synth, guitar and vocals all on my lone on this.
It's sort of related to this dream I had last night.
Cindy (my first wife, Arizona and Trinity's mother) were going to fly out somewhere so we stayed at this house close to the airport so we could leave early the next day.
It was in a nieghborhood which reminds me of (or may have been) Buckhead.
We stayed at this suite of this old man.
It was like an 80-something floor high rise, family friend condo.
The kids were small and later showed up in the dream.
The building had this enormous water park built into it, spanning all the floors, from top to bottom, sorta like that place in the Bahamas.
The middle of the building was open air, and people would tube from the top to the bottom.
The old man was frightened then upset then delighted to find her and I in his flat.
He hadn't had visitors in years, although all the tenants knew him as the Colonel.

weekenders
... Gotta leave to pick up Trinity ( and hopefully Arizona) enjoy this morning jam.
17 “‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in the heaven above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
21 And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
