This is how we do it (FIN)

This will be the final installment of the how-to's
gotta leave some mystery!

So just now on this rainy saturday in the ATL,
I layed down a CTK-611 beat with some thick p-bass,
I'll show you the layers inside this post as I  add 'em.

I use my bare right big toe to alter the beat as I'm cruising the bass, like a hunta

Thundering isolation (D &B demo)

On a related note, I love thunder... I love it when my God displays His power, flexin'.

Next up, novation.

I haven't seen thing on any pitchfork/Kompakt/Fader videos, and I'm glad - it's so rad
- and since I don't see it in use, I know I'm getting pretty unique synth sounds.
I'm just now getting to where I want to use the editor and make custom sounds, the defaults have carried me for almost 6 months of nearly daily use!

Did I mention I totally love blogger?

I know tumblr is where the kids are, but blogger is so feature-rich, it's the OG... and it's got google power, which means I can get it to you faster!

PS - The whole, Dan/Mike/Esar thing may be dormant and that's ok. Love those guys but there may be a fundamental direction that is different.

If I ever get in a mega-group (3+ players) I want it to be along the lines of this:

Ok, ciao - time for some synthesizer feathering!

The final composition could definitely make it to Analog signal.

NEXT LAYER

about 30 later...

Thundering isolation (layer 2 demo)

Here you can here the Novation in 8-bit megalead,
accompanied by the ikaossilator, doing some wobbly.

I'm not gonna lie,I'm a big fan of iOS apps (almost as much as I love helvetica).
I can tweak more sounds on a budget.

Don't know about in a live performance, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there, right now it's all about studio excellence, making things I love to hear.

... and if you love it, well that's a total bonus.

I'm sure you do, or else why are you here?

Next layer will be closer could be closer to the bassline, to do that I'll mute the other stuff (I'm giving away all the tricks in this post - it feels great! I love inspiring others!).

 - see you in a bit.

 Third edit
(in conclusion - about 95 minutes from first post

Who knew detailing the creative process would be so much work?!
Labour of love.
Here's the last edit before vocals and finalization.

These demo's may make it to Analog signals as hidden bonus cuts.

Thundering isolation (mas 8bit demo edit)

Here I added ying/yang twin 8bit megaleads, one with cross-poly flang, one with a setting I've created called dream beach.

I fade both of them at about 1:49, then fade all 8bits at about 2:01,
just to let the drum & bass ride before the slight banked finale.

The vocals are up next, it's so synth heavy it may be renamed (especially since the sun as also risen after the rain.

Caio for now.
